The Showgirl Pianist
Multi-talented musician and dancer Jessica Sunset blends her crafts with classical Hollywood glitz to create her very own style of performance. Through her unique performances, Jessica mesmerizes audiences with her dazzling showmanship and ethereal grace. She is The Showgirl Pianist.
As a burlesque artist, Jessica performs regularly in Chicago at The Drifter and Untitled Supper Club. She has also appeared at The Newport Theater, Links Hall, Simone’s, Meeting House Tavern, and The California Clipper.
Jessica also showcases her talents at burlesque festivals across the country, including: the New York, Ohio, and Texas Burlesque Festivals (2025), the Sin City, Land of the Sky, New Mexico, Minneapolis, and Tulsa Burlesque Festivals (2024), and debuted at the Minneapolis Burlesque Festival (2023). She was selected as an Alternate performer for Burlesque Hall of Fame’s Movers, Shakers and Innovators showcase in 2025.
Jessica has been a lifelong performer and artist. She is professionally trained in classical piano performance--having earned a Bachelor of Music from the acclaimed Oberlin Conservatory of Music, with additional training at Aspen Music Festival & School, and Crossroads School for the Arts & Sciences. She studied ballet professionally at the San Francisco Ballet and with ballerina Tania Lichine in Hollywood.
As a concert pianist, Jessica has played from the West Coast, through the Midwest and abroad to Brazil. She has danced in ballet performances with companies such as San Francisco Ballet and New York City Ballet.
Jessica is the BurlyPicks Solid Gold Illinois 2020 titleholder for “Master of Amazement” and “Best Overall - Silver.”
